Ojai Post Office
The Ojai Post Office transports us to the streets of Havana, Cuba. There, a very similarly designed Cathedral can be found and is actually what served as the inspiration for the Ojai Post Office. Designed by Mead and Requa and completed in 1917, this tower was only a small part of Edward Libbey’s redevelopment project, which included enhancing the adjacent Arcade and Pergola along Ojai Ave.

Pink Moment
Ojai is situated in a unique east/west valley that allows it to capture the late sunlight, creating stunning displays of color on the Topatopa Bluffs as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean.

Ojai Pixie
Welcome to the home of the sweet and delicious Ojai Pixie! Ojai Pixies ripen during the spring, so be sure you grab some during your visit from March - May, where stores like Westridge sell them by the pound and many local restaurants incorporate the tangerine into their seasonal spring menu.

Chief Peak
Take a moment to admire the mountains that surround the valley, where you are sure to see Chief Peak Mountain standing tall and proud. According to local legend, Chief Matilija was fatally wounded in a battle against the Spanish invaders. In his dying wish, he requested to be laid at the peak of the mountain. Over time it took on the shape of his face, forever cementing the Chumash as natives of Ojai.
